Class Cohort Minecraft Server

Java Edition

1. Open Minecraft: Java Edition and select Multiplayer.
2. Select Add Server.
3. Enter play.example.edu as the server address.
4. Select Done, then choose the server and click Join Server.

Use the version required by the server: REPLACE_WITH_VERSION.

Bedrock Edition

This server is shared with Bedrock players through Geyser and MCXboxBroadcast. You join through the configured account—not by adding the server address on the Servers screen.

1. Add COHORT_SERVER as a friend using its Xbox gamertag.
2. Open Minecraft and select Play, then Friends.
3. Under Joinable Friends, select the cohort server session.
4. Select Join.

If the session is not listed, confirm the server is online, you added the correct gamertag, and you are signed in to your Microsoft account.

• Java address: play.example.edu
• Required Minecraft version: REPLACE_WITH_VERSION
• Bedrock join method: add the configured gamertag, then join from Friends
